There is no better medicine in the world than to stand at the edge of the ocean, admiring the sunset. I am even more thrilled to watch the sun setting over Buzzard's Bay, as in New England we are more accustomed to watching the sun RISE over the ocean. What a beautiful sight this is, and today was a perfect day to be here in North Falmouth.
We have been enjoying Cape Cod as we take part in the Girls with Great Lines Trade Show. Thank you to everyone who has come to visit us in our booth! A trade show is supposed to be all business, but for me it's more than that. We get to see so many people each year, our "once a year friends," as we say, and I always look forward to catching up with them.
Spring is slowly making an appearance in New England. A few days ago I woke up to the sounds of birds singing, and realized I hadn't heard that sound in many months. Winter is long, but Spring always returns; and especially in light of today's bad headlines, it is good to remember that.
We will be in Cape Cod one more day, and then on to the New England Made Show in Portland. Thank you to all of you who are contributing to a great beginning of 2020! We appreciate you all so much.
